Gladiators, into the arena please!
In the Meeswald forest between the Perl district of Borg and the Roman villa, an approx. 15 kilometre long network of signposted trails and single trails with guaranteed riding fun has been created in recent years (black and gold markings). The trails meander seemingly endlessly through the varied forest and offer the best training opportunities for mountain bikers of all abilities.

Besonderheiten der Tour
Aussichtsreich
Wegebeschaffenheit
The area is characterised by a flat topography and an attractive mixed deciduous forest. Thanks to its good accessibility and an adjacent car park, the area offers users a good leisure and training facility. The routes are integrated into the landscape thanks to their natural character and offer an appealing riding and nature experience. Existing paths (trails) were used for this purpose and combined with newly created, special MTB trails.
By designing the trails in different ways, as many different skill levels as possible should benefit from the practice terrain. The track is surfaced with a water-bound surface layer or left in its natural state and has completely different track widths. The course of the track has a natural character along existing features to ensure that it blends in with the terrain. Thanks to these characteristics, the routes also offer beginners a good introduction to mountain biking and advanced riders an interesting training platform. Alternative routes are available at various points to increase the level of difficulty. Here, for example, the challenge is increased by a slightly steeper gradient or small waves and tighter bends. In technical sections, hairpin bends and obstacles offer further technical training opportunities.
