The 564-m-high Hochwaldalm is the only alpine meadow in the Saarland.

Beschreibung

During the summer months, it is used by cattle belonging to a local cooperative. The alpine hut has become a popular resting place on the Saar-Hunsrück-Trail and the dream loop “Almglück”.
