Losheim reservoir is one of the most beautiful EU bathing lakes in Germany. In addition to a family-friendly bathing area with a 2000-m²-large water playground, the lake offers many recreational possibilities. The main path leads primarily through the 5-hectare-large SeeGarten. The reservoir is also the starting point for a number of premium hikes and for the “Saar-Hunsrück” hiking trail. Large events such as “Klassik am See” are held in the summer at the lakeside bathing area. Holidaymakers can stay overnight at one of the lakeside hotels, on the campsite or in the eco-village. Four restaurants and the SeaGarden bistro are open all year round.
