Saar-Hunsrück Climb - 08th stage: Reinsfeld - Hermeskeil - Nonnweiler

This stage offers a successful mix of narrow stream valleys and wide views. We start at the "Frau Holle" rock formation in the Wadrilltal valley, reach a ridge through an idyllic side valley and from there follow narrow forest paths into the next stream valley.
The route climbs again to the heights near Gusenburg. For several kilometers, we can enjoy very beautiful views.
Once again, we descend into the Löstertal valley and then onto the heights near Hermeskeil with beautiful views of Hermeskeil and the surrounding area. Hermeskeil can be reached via two access routes for overnight stays or shopping.
From the heights, the trail leads into the romantic Forstelbach valley. A near-natural path runs parallel to the stream and allows you to experience this natural landscape with all your senses. In the second part, we hike on a wider path along a long chain of ponds. The access route to the stage destination of Nonnweiler begins below the dam.
