Borderline experience - the challenging mountain bike tour!

A border experience in two respects: 340 metres of altitude difference have to be overcome on the 17 km long route and the tour runs along the border between Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate for long stretches. Through the Holzbachtal nature reserve, the route follows the course of the stream along a narrow path through the forest. This is where the challenging ascent - around 10 kilometres long - begins. From 360 metres above sea level, the route climbs continuously up to the Teufelskopf at 700 metres above sea level. The landscape alternates between dense coniferous and mixed forests and open sections. After a loop around the Teufelskopf, you can enjoy a long 5 km descent!
