The Saarland Tours App

The new version of the free Saarland Tours app now offers even more for all those who like to be active outdoors. The centrepiece of the app is still the continuously zoomable topographical maps at a scale of 1:25,000 and access to our extensive tour database, which offers plenty of content for outdoor activities, especially for cyclists and hikers. Those who enjoy sporting activities, e.g. mountain biking or road cycling, will find suitable content, as will motorcyclists for cruising through the landscape of the Greater Region. For all tours you will find detailed descriptions, an altitude profile and pictures as well as places of interest and catering establishments along the way. The integrated GPS position display shows you where you are at any given time, allowing you to find your way safely on all routes.

With the new version, you can now also create your own tours and record, save and share routes. A new compass function simplifies orientation outdoors and allows you to send location coordinates, e.g. to report path damage, closures etc. on site. Information pages on current events, news and a favourites list round off the Saarland Tours app.

The Saarland Tours app is available to download free of charge from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
