Hochwaldalm Wadrill

The Hochwaldalm in Wadrill has become a popular excursion destination for many hikers on the Saar-Hunsrück Climb or the "Almglück" premium hiking trail, cyclists, horse riders and holidaymakers from near and far.

From mid-May, the Hochwald grazing cooperative lets cattle and horses graze on the 18 hectares of pastureland at an altitude of 564 metres. Wednesday is a day off. Shorter opening hours apply out of season. Reservations are accepted on 06871 507170.
