Montclair Castle
Montclair Castle sits on a ridge roughly 290 metres above the river, enclosed by the „Saarschleife“ – a horseshoe bend in the River
Saar.
Beschreibung
Its origins and gradual dereliction are shrouded in myths and legends. Since its restoration in 1993, however, life has returned to the old ruin, not least due to tours accompanied by the castle ghost, the lady of the castle, or the knight. Other amenities are provided by an on-site museum and a restaurant.
