7 plus 1
In 7 (MTB) plus 1 (gravel) different variants, we would like to guide you on our signposted PERL BIKE tours through the border triangle and its history. We present our natural and cultural landscape as well as our tourist highlights in a sporty summary. The road book includes our local forests, orchards and vineyards - and of course historical sites such as the former Höckerlinie, the mosaic in Nennig, the Roman Villa Borg and the Renaissance Berg Castle.
Start in Perl
The basis of our routes is the PERL 100 circuit with just over 100 kilometres. All other variants are sections and shortcuts of this route. The gravel variant, which is around 80 kilometres long, leaves out difficult, steeper and blocked trails and can therefore always be used as an easy variant, even by mountain bike.
Our 7 MTB routes and our gravel route start in Perl at the mountain bike centre. You will find another starting point for all routes in Borg directly at the Kuhampel car park. All routes are signposted with the familiar markings (orange triangle + 2 circles). Nevertheless, we recommend that you use a GPS device with the respective track. Unfortunately, we are not immune to vandalism, tampering and sign theft. If you notice any discrepancies, please let us know as soon as possible.
The route number gives an indication of the approximate length of the route. The colours black, red, blue and green indicate the overall difficulty (fitness, riding technique, etc.) of the tour. As these assessments are always very individual and depend on your personal level of training, ability and equipment, we do not provide more detailed information on the level of difficulty.
