We are a long-established business that was founded in Hausbach around 200 years ago. Initially selling groceries, everyday necessities and colonial goods, the focus has increasingly shifted to the bakery/pastry sector, which now accounts for around 80% of the company's activities. Our company is run by Bernd, Elmar and Gertrud Quinten. We also operate branches in the villages of Britten, Bachem, Brotdorf, Reimsbach and Greimerath. Our delivery service covers the smaller villages in our region.
We were happy to join the "Ebbes von Hei!" initiative, as we have been sourcing our raw materials from the local area for generations. (Milk from Hausbach, eggs from Beckingen, honey from the local beekeeper, flour from Tholey, sausage from the neighbouring village, etc.).
Our bread, with our own sourdough, as well as our other baked goods are still produced by hand. In our own patisserie, cakes, tarts, desserts etc. are made fresh every day. Our special chocolate cake, Sacher cake, festive cakes and our range of Christmas biscuits and stollen are very popular. Why don't you try them?
