Unlimited cycling - nature side route Sauertalradweg

This tour starts at the lowest point in Luxembourg, the "Spatz" in Wasserbillig, and leads along both banks of the Sûre through picturesque villages and vineyards in Germany and Luxembourg to the abbey town of Echternach. A short shady section of the route runs "elevated" through a valuable wetland area. You cycle through an old railway tunnel and over modern bridges.

Places of interest: Hermitage chapel "Girsterklaus", mineral springs and reservoir (swimming) of Rosport, Echternach (town walls, basilica, Benedictine abbey), Bollendorf castle.
